Keep on...

I feel like I haven't stopped this past month. Work has been really busy trying to get things going in the beginning of the school year and moving out of a house and into a new house is always more work than you think. I'm feeling more and more like an adult these days. This is my third year in this job with the same schools and some of the same staff and a lot of the same kiddos to work with. I'm no longer a rookie or the young kid on the block. I like that, but with it comes added responsibilities. I do know I'm not alone in feeling super overwhelmed and busy trying to do my job well. I think a lot of Americans probably feel that way right now because when positions and programs are cut due to a poor economy, it tends to leave one person to do the work of at least three people. Simple Pleasures

Kate & Dave's wedding at the top of Keystone Mountain.. Gorgeous day for a wedding outside! Getting back to work has certainly lead to increased stress.. But I think I am quickly reminded and provided with some fun and great opportunities! This week I started a Spanish class, which I am already so excited about. I also got to reconnect with my students (new ones and old ones). I spent last Monday evening at a concert at Red Rocks Amphitheater to see Ray LaMontagne & David Gray, which was so fantastic. The weather has been incredible here. I'm loving the sun and the breeze. I've been hiking for the past two weekends, and went to a wedding on the top of a mountain yesterday. I've had many good laughs with friends, better conversations, a fantastic long run today, and even a night of dancing! I am certainly enjoying being back in Denver with what it has to offer here, and the relationships I have been developing for the past 3 years. I am still missing my fam...
